Work for Camping

If you would like to work off your camping you can apply for the Work for Camping program. By dedicating 6 hours of volunteer work to help us prep for the event, promote the event or help during the event you can work off your camping pass. These hours are transferable, so you can work off multiple camping passes or gift a camping pass to someone else as well.

If you would like to apply for the Work for Camping program fill out this form: Work for Camping Application

5. Orientation

Experienced, but new to Koroneburg?

If you have never been a participant at Koroneburg but have experience at other Renaissance faires and festivals then you will need to watch a brief orientation on Koroneburg. This orientation will cover the backstory of Koroneburg and cover specific rules and logistics that you'll need to be aware of for this event. This will allow you to better integrate your character into the Koroneburg event and will give you practical information you need to know.

Koroneburg orientation will be delivered live on March 3rd and 4th at the Koroneburg Village.

If you can't attend the live orientation, it will be filmed so you can watch it later at the park.

For more information on class times or any other questions about Orientation please contact our Education Director, Lois Tunnel, at educationlore@aol.com

New to Renaissance Festivals?

If you have never been an official participant at any Renaissance Festival before then you will need to take the core Participant Curriculum classes. This core curriculum includes the Koroneburg orientation, and 3-4 other classes that will guide you on costuming, creating a character and how to interact with guests.

These classes will be delivered live on March 3rd and 4th at the Koroneburg Village.

If you can't attend the live classes, they will be filmed so you can watch it later at the park. But we highly recommend that you attend the live classes so you can ask questions and get direct instruction.

For more information on class times or any other questions about Orientation please contact our Education Director, Lois Tunnel, at educationlore@aol.com

Participated at Koroneburg before?

If you have been an official participant at Koroneburg before then you are not required to take any classes as long as you follow the rules for the event and continue to maintain the standards of period representation.
